So Aden and me are watching this movie called Hairspray. Many of you may have already seen it. Its a musical that deals with some racial and plus-sized girl (sorry, I couldn’t think of another phrase for it) issues under all of the dancing and singing. While Aden is sitting here loving it, I can’t help but be disturbed by John Travolta in drag as the main character’s mom. What really got me about this movie is how everybody dressed. Its all poofy. Is that how people really dressed back in the 60’s? All that aside, I find myself loving this movie. Its like my infatuation with Dreamgirls all over again. I don’t know what it is about musicals that I love so much, I must be gay or something. I’ll just download High School Musical and find out.
