“You are the embodiment of the information you choose to accept and act upon. To change your circumstances you need to change your thinking and subsequent actions.” ~Adlin Sinclair

I think it’s funny that I choose this quote for today.  I had set up a list of quotes prior to starting this, and it’s humorous that this falls on today because I just had an two hour long conversation with a friend of mine about this.  😛  I look at this as saying if someone does something bad to you, you have the choice to accept it or to fix it.  And the only way to stop the hurt or to fix the problem is to think about it, change your thinking to fit the situation, and carefully choose the actions you make.  For me this says that everything you do is about choices.  You choose your fate on every situation that you go through.  (Not to deny any sort of higher power but I’m not big on having religious conversations with people I don’t know so that I do not offend anyone)  If you take the time to step back and evaluate the situation, think about how you feel and what you really want to do instead of just acting upon it, you will have a much more fitting answer.  I don’t like to do this without at least taking the time to think about it, which is why I’m told that I think too much!  I try to make my choices well, although I slip up a lot of the time.  But if I don’t take the time to really step outside myself and think about the choices I’m making, I never make the right choice.  And I don’t like questioning myself.  Well, I’m rambling now… I don’t think I’m getting across what I’m trying to say… but hopefully you can make it through all the rambling and understand!
