So the little man has been sick ever since this morning so we’ve bee inside all day. My poor baby has been throwing up and feverish all day. Doc Daddy was here to take care of him though. He’s normally a tough kid so when he comes to me with a face so sad I even got a fever. He grabs my arm and tells me, “Daddy, I don’t feel good.” I scooped him up and gave him a sure cure. Snuggles. After a few hours of that and a few naps in his favorite bed otherwise known as my lap, he was back up and running around. I guess I was a little too relieved that he was feeling better and playing again because while we played a game we like to call Daddy Ball, I got hurt. Daddy Ball consists of Aden trying to hit me with his Lightning McQueen Bat (yea the car from Cars) while I try to dodge in every way possible, giving us both a workout. Everything was going fine and we were having fun until something happened in the Superbowl which distracted me just long enough for Aden to make me wish I’d worn a cup. I instantly fall to the floor but Aden doesn’t let up with the bat and hits a homerun with my head while I’m still on my knees from his first at bat. He hits me a few more times before he realizes that something is wrong. And in a way only he can, he jumps on top of me, wraps his arms around me a whispers in my ear, “I love you daddy.” The pain almost instantly subsides I smile and reply, “I love you too Aden.”

During Aden’s naps I had a chance to finally add a few things to the site:

• User Photos that you upload to your profile will appear whenever you comment or write on the blog
• A Random Blog Post section was added to the sidebar of the site
• A Music Page was added as a tab to the top of the site

We’ve added an amazing writer, Vanessa today and some of her work is already up with more on the way. What are you waiting for? Go Read!!!

And finally, have you ever wondered if they ever made a real Lightning McQueen? Well in the words of a screaming Aden when he saw these pictures, YES!!!
