The Catch Up

To the 2-3 people who actually read this:

Sorry that I haven’t shown much love to the public post lately.  Life has been pretty busy in the last few weeks and I should have written about it on here so here is the ketchup.(Don’t spill)

My last day at Energy Assistance

It was a pretty laid back day, I did some apps but otherwise just chilled.  It was all good.  Then right before lunch an all staff meeting was called for 4:30 with the CEO.  Ohhhh scary!!!  Not if its your last day.  So while I go in the meeting basically not giving a fuck, I saw some pretty worried faces when the CEO mentions periods of transformation.  End result?  2-3 of some of the higher ups got fired and the highest got bumped down to make room for the new manager of the dept.  Its one thing to tell people to diversify their income because a job can fire you at anytime.  But its a whole other thing to see it happen in front of your eyes.  I left that meeting pretty sad.

Return of the Jimi

Its good to know that some people never change.  Thats all I got to say about that but take a look at the private post for what I really want to say.

IT!

The IT dept of the OCBENJI Business is taking off more and more these days.  I love my clients both present and future 😉

Taxin’ that ass!

My new job title is VITA Coordinator for the Richards St. Location.  Its a huge bump up in pay which helps a little but being done on April 30th is the real reason the job puts a smile on my face.  I also decided to add a tax portion to the OCBENJI Business which will help keep me busy.

XXXmas

Well actually it was pretty family-friendly but I couldn’t resist.  I was reminded of my childhood holidays this christmas.  And it was kinda weird watching Aden run around with his cousins like probably did in that same house.  I also learned that one of my uncles has been working for the IRS for the last 20 years and he suggested that if I was finally ready to make that jump to full time that I would have his support.  I watched my little brother take a more leadership role in things.  Its funny to see how things can change when I take a year or two off.  I looked around and realized that vast amount of history that surrounded me as I talked with my aunts and uncles I really have enough to make a good movie.  I’ll add that to my to do list.  I took lots of pictures of all the kids opening presents and such.  Aden was in heaven!  Good times were had by all.

Well that was the nice and clean version of everything you missed.
