There are few true masterpieces in this world. Works of perfection so pure and untouched that the mere observance or interaction with them magnifies one’s own flaws so much that one must take actions to better them self. Maybe that is the purpose of a masterpiece, to encourage one to realize the masterpiece within ourselves. Corny sounding I know but truth nonetheless.

I re-watched a masterpiece today and it held up the mirror of my own up to me.
