The Alarm woke me up @ 6:30 and then again @ 7. After losing the debate with myself to call in work, I drag myself to the mirror in the bathroom and what do I see? My hair flat on both sides so I’m staring at myself lookin like a jamacian frankenstien. So I slide into my old man green sweater and my trusty Rocawear jeans (I know, I’m cool). I make a run to the bus stop only to remember that if I don’t take the garbage to the curb they won’t take it so I do my garbage man duty and run to the bus stop only to miss it by seconds. You win this round #30! So I roll into work late but at least JV was on the bus when I got on. Work was a bitch, class was its mom. I got to go with the awesome LG (Laurie Genske for those that ain’t cool enough to know). She treated me to noodles and we talked about everything as usual. After that we chilled in LINKS with JV and everybody, then I took a picture of her to photoshop her with different color hair. Then I hooked up with Johnnie and we took a survey about black men and how they feel about couseling, needless to say, I wasn’t too cooperative. But the lady who gave it to us was really nice and down to earth. So off to my other job. After filling some printers with paper, I’m back at LINKS but now the day really begins.
