I’m probably gonna regret this one but its been bouncing around in my head all day.<\/p>\n
Its about my son’s mother, here after to be referred to as babymama.\u00a0 As much as you can look at Aden and tell he’s my son, you can just look at him and if you’ve ever met babymama, you know that he’s hers as well.\u00a0 I used to miss her when we first broke up.\u00a0 Until I realized that he has alot of her in him.\u00a0 Especially when he talks.\u00a0 Its funny how a child inherits their parent’s traits.\u00a0 Its almost like the child is marked by his or her parents with personality traits they can’t shake.\u00a0 Its pretty bad with Aden though.\u00a0 Sometimes when he talks, I swear its her.\u00a0 Today while I was making dinner, he comes up behind me and pulls down my pants and screamed, “I see yo booty daddy!”\u00a0 And he did it exactly how she used to, so much so that I yelled at her to stop twice before I realized that it was Aden.\u00a0 Of course Aden just tells me, “Silly daddy, mommy’s not here, lets do it again!”\u00a0 Its kinda scary in a way but really makes you think and look at that other person in a new light.\u00a0 Don’t get me wrong, the past is the past and should probably stay there but its good to be able to appreciate a person when their not even there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
