\nHow can I know what life may have in store<\/em>
\nWhen all the clues must lie beyond my ken?<\/em>
\nHow much happiness is love? And then<\/em>
\nHow much and long must it endure before<\/em>
\nI recognize that strange and distant shore<\/em>
\nBeyond which I won’t have to ask again?<\/em>
\nI do not know, but trust that when I do<\/em>
\nThe answer will surround me like old fields<\/em>
\nOn which the things I hunger for will grow.<\/em>
\nFor now I share the mystery with you,<\/em>
\nWaiting for what young affection yields,<\/em>
\nAnd for the time when both of us will know.<\/em><\/font><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
