Yes, I remember as a 5-year old bennignig many years of love for a collie dog. So many memories of running and playing together and then those sad memories when the end came years later as she passed away. She was of course one of the family through all those years. All the other pets during my childhood (gerbils, newts, turtles, fish ) didn’t quite reach that same level of companionship and love that this dog held in my heart.Blessings,Jim
